Priorities

Do you offer your body to God as a living sacrifice on a daily basis?  When prayerfully considering this it involves future planning for me.

If my days are used to the utmost for God's purpose in my life, I think I am walking in the light as He is in the light.  Setting priorities can be an exciting and challenging proposition and one that ought to be done with the attitude of  being a living sacrifice.

As I look back over last year, I clearly plugged in to many ministries.  Too many ministries.  For my sake I am going to list them:

Awana Cubbies Helper- Mondays
Discipleship with college student- Tuesdays
School Volunteer - Wednesdays
Flock Group Host- Thursdays
Moms in Touch Prayer Group Host- Fridays
Church- Sundays

Box Tops Coordinator (collecting, counting and mailing them in) for my boy's school.
Field Trips Chaperone

And the Daily:
Driving Tim and Trev to and from school
Parenting Cameron at home
Meals
Laundry
House Maintenance
Shopping
Bible Study
School and AWANA Homework

Life was full... do you see anything missing?  My husband.  We crossed out time for "us" to make time for everything else.  Ouch!  Lord willing, this year he will be one of my priorities... and I, his.

School Already?!

The summer is rapidly coming to a close.  One last swim, one last ice cream truck, one last lazy pj morning.  Excited for a fresh start into a new school year.  My school aged kids both got new to the district teachers which has an exciting appeal.  The fresh unbiased, input from young lively women new to the area adds a certain kind of hope to a special school year.

Not sure what niche this blog is going to fill.  Waiting for it to unfold.

Peace out,
Stacy
